Micron P320h PCIe SSD (700GB) Review

 

Update: Micron tells us that the P320h doesn't support NVMe, we are digging to understand how Micron's controller differs from the NVMe IDT controller with a similar part number.

PCIe is the future. I don't expect a smooth ride to get us there, but it's where solid state storage is headed - particularly in the enterprise market. The P320h is a good starting point, I'm eager to see where Micron takes it.

Micron P320h: Ssd Pci Express per l’Enterpise

 

Micron presenta un nuovo supporto Ssd per il mercato Enterprise, su connessione Pci Express, capacità di 700 Gbyte e prestazioni elevatissime.

Il consumo è inoltre di soli 25 watt, davvero pochissimi per un prodotto in grado di sostituire batterie di almeno una dozzina di dischi. I prezzi non sono ufficiali, ma dovrebbero assestarsi a poco più di 10€ al Gbyte.
