It was heavier than our older one (which we wound up keeping) and giving this one away as a gift to a friend of our who can bench press over 200 lbs.

I bought this iron, because I sometimes forget to turn the iron off. This feature is a must for me. Over all the iron has a nice look to it and all the features are great. I find it a little heavier that my previous one, but I would recommend this one.
