The Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2000 is a basic and inexpensive mouse that will serve left- and right-handed users alike. But anyone in search of extra buttons or special software should look elsewhere.

Works as advertised, high quality

This mouse was obviously used. The box had been previously opened and the bottom of the mouse had scratches where someone had been using it. It's still in good shape and works exactly as expected, so I'm only dinging 1 egg

I have this mouse for about 6 months now and have yet to change the batteries in it. Is a good durable mouse and it fits nice in my hand

The wheel does not tile left/right. I was use to that with my last Logitech mouse

Nice tracking, all buttons work really nice just a real nice click no stiff buttons or accidental clicks at all. The battery life is outrageous, I usually end up changing them roughly twice a year. I've had it over 3 years and it works like the first day

The receiver's not so great, it's fine if you put on your desk or maybe on the floor but it's limit is about 6 ft

The product does not cost enough to make it worth returning ; The switches were unreliable. Pointer positioning was unstable and unpredictable. The scroll wheel function only worked right about half the time. AND, all were a constant irritation

No real pros on this one. It doesn't really stand out versus any generic mouse for half the price

Very noisy clicking. Wheel is also very noisy. Over sensitive wheel button. Further, the wheel itself does not perform well. The general accuracy of the mouse is also not that good

Sticky feet, useless scroll bar, erratic cursor movements , at times ceases to work entirely. Pretty useless. Try Logitek

Seems well built for the price; decent tracking on a good surface; if this is anything like the other MS mice I've owned, the battery life will be good (5+ months); good value
