Update to my previous responce.

Hamilton Beach was a good product decades ago when North Americans workers made the products, but start building stuff in China and all you get is high priced junk.

Looks nice on the counter.

Shorted out and burned up three weeks ago. Had it for about 5 months, only used once a day for a bagel, and it's not heavy enough for a door stop.

My Tech Knowledge is I have used a toaster for over 50 years. The pros; it looks nice.

Great Toast and Bagels

This toaster is big improvement over the prior toaster. Kids use it every morning to make toast, bagels, English muffins, etc. Works very well (no burned toast, bagels or English muffins so far). The wide slots fit any kind of bread or bagel we have...

Have to figure out what type of item requires which setting. Some trial and error as with any toaster.
