Opinie eksperta : Good Gear Guide.au (goodgearguide.com.au)
Its music player is not as good as we expected, but the Motorola ROKR does have some redeeming features.
Support for iTunes, excellent display
Limited to 100 songs, VGA camera only, USB1.1 connection
Opinie eksperta : Jiří Kuruc (gsmarena.com)
Motorola ROKR E1 seems to be a new and quite progressive mobile. Well, it is not really new, as it has origin in the older E398 model, but it does brings a sure novelty: a direct cooperation with the iTunes program as well as with one of the world's...
Motorola and Apple started working together more than a year ago, in July 2004. The result of their cooperation was first presented at the CES fair at the beginning of this year. Soon afterwards, in the spring of 2005, we were shown the first pictures...
Opinie eksperta : Kent German (cnet.com)
The display measures an ample 2.0 inches diagonally and supports 262,000 colors. Great for viewing photos and playing games, the display shines brighter than many Motorola screens we've seen; it's even readable in direct light. You can change the...
The Rokr benefits from solid call and music playback quality, and it comes with a speakerphone, Bluetooth, a bright display, user-friendly controls, and an integrated iTunes music player.
The Rokr has a dull design, and it can't download songs wirelessly. It's also hampered by a small 100-song memory, limited Bluetooth functionality, a sluggish iTunes interface, slow music transfer speeds, and a low-resolution VGA camera.
The Motorola Rokr E1 takes a step toward integrating a usable audio jukebox into a functional cell phone, but the 100-song limit and the slow processor performance will disappoint iPod users looking to carry a single do-it-all device.
Opinie eksperta : Sascha Segan, Mike Kobrin (pcmag.com)
Although the first iTunes phone connects easily with PCs and Macs, the sad truth is that music transfers and the phone's interface both feel clumsy.
First phone with iTunes. Good call quality. ; function Video(mypage, myname, w, h, scroll) { var winl = (screen.width - w) / 2; var wint = (screen.height - h) / 2; winprops = 'height='+h+',width='+w+',top='+wint+',left='+winl+',scrollbars='+scroll+''...
Extremely slow music transfer. Somewhat clunky software. No other cutting-edge features. ; See the Motorola ROKR E1 in Action ; !
As for the rest of the iTunes experience, it is comfortably similar to that of an iPod; hit the dedicated iTunes button on the ROKR and you pop into a typical iTunes interface, with options to view songs by artist, album, or title, or to shuffle songs....
Opinie eksperta : StuffTV (stuff.tv)
The Rokr E1 adds iTunes to its repetoire of VGA camera, WAP, and Bluetooth for syncing PIM functions with a PC or MAC
Opinie eksperta (imobile.com.au)
There was a big hype around the first mobile phone ever to support iTunes compatibility when it was first announced. However, I believe that the E1 ROKR hasn't lived up to the expectations this hype had placed on it. In my opinion it was released far...
Opinie eksperta : Jon Gales (mobiletracker.net)
Thanks to the Apple hype machine, Motorola's ROKR E1 was one of the most anticipated mobile phones ever. After 18 months of speculation (ever since it was announced that iTunes would be coming to some Motorola...
The biggest thing the Motorola ROKR E1 has going for it is the carrier deal with Cingular. Feature wise it just doesn't innovate. Overall the device isn't polished, from a USB 1 connection to extremely slow performance. Using the ROKR made me...
Opinie eksperta (itreviews.co.uk)
Apple certainly knows how to do music players, and Motorola has had its moments with handsets. But can the two come together in a music playing handset that cuts the mustard? The two companies clearly think ...
The ROKR E1 is a nice enough handset, but it is definitely a phone with iTunes built in rather than an iTunes phone. The difference is significant, and as it is not particularly cheap it is not an especially compelling choice of music handset.
Opinie eksperta : Nigel Freitas (goodgearguide_com_au)
Support for iTunes, excellent display
Limited to 100 songs, VGA camera only, USB1.1 connection
Its music player is not as good as we expected, but the Motorola ROKR does have some redeeming features.
Opinie eksperta : iLounge (ilounge.com)
Pundits claim that standalone digital music players are destined to be replaced by music-ready mobile phones. If they're correct - and we're not convinced that they are - Motorola's ROKR E1 Mobile Phone ($349.99) will not be the vanguard of the...
Above-average on signal strength, this combination of cell phone and iTunes music player doesn't drop calls easily, and plays back MP3 or AAC tracks without complaint. Includes 512MB memory card. Offers partial Bluetooth compatibility, an integrated...
Signal strength aside, audio quality of calls is only okay, and not good on caller's end when using included stereo headset. Phone and iTunes interfaces, including music synchronization, are frequently slow and non-intuitive by comparison with...
I'm glad this crap got a low rating. C+ is still too high in my opinion. The ROKR just stinks of restrictions. Restrictions that Apple probably placed on the device so it wouldnt take away from iPod sales. This could have been the next big thing!...
