Lenovo Chromebook Duet 11 review: a step backward | Digital Trends

The Lenovo Chromebook Duet 11 is very affordable, but sometimes that's just not good enough. Performance and the keyboard are subpar, which is a shame.

Attractive price ; Good battery life ; Decent display ; Includes keyboard and kickstand

Performance is poor ; Keyboard is cramped and uncomfortable ; Not an improvement over previous generation

“The Lenovo Chromebook Duet 11 is a pain to use thanks to choppy performance and a subpar keyboard.”

Lenovo Chromebook Duet 11 review: Mobile energy-saving champion

Chromebooks don't need a lot of power to meet the demands of everyday use reliably. A battery with 29 Wh is enough for the economical device to run for 12 hours. However, the robust Chromebook Duet 11 also shows surprising strengths in other areas. The...

Long battery life (approx. 10 hours);Silent operation thanks to passive cooling;Affordable price;Lightweight and mobile;Good color space coverage (98.3 % sRGB)

Limited performance (especially compared to x86 processors);Moderate color reproduction (blue cast);Keyboard with short travel and little feedback

The Lenovo Chromebook Duet 11 is a convertible that scores with its flexibility and mobility. The detachable display, optional pen support, and long battery life make it an ideal companion on the go. The MediaTek Kompanio 838 processor ensures smooth...

Lenovo Chromebook Duet Gen 9 Review

I remember when the first batch of Chromebooks hit the shelves back in 2011. They were awful, poorly made, and generally garbage. Fast-forward to today and devices like the Lenovo Chromebook Duet Gen 9 exist.

Good build quality ; Affordable price ; Light and portable ; Comes with OPTIONAL stylus and decent stand ; Very excellent battery life

Keyboard is cramped and squishy ; No backlit keys ; Some Android apps don't run well ; RAM is lacking at 4GB, you can opt for more

Overall, this is a fine little Chrome OS laptop. I, personally, would get a Windows PC that might run a few hundred dollars more. But I understand that Chrome OS has some advantages, and for those looking for a Chrome OS 2-in-1. This isn’t a bad...

Sayonara, MacBook Air: The Lenovo Chromebook Duet (Gen 9) is my new travel companion

When space is at a premium, it helps to have a two-in-one like Lenovo's Chromebook Duet that can keep up with light travel tasks.

Great build quality ; Convenient display size ; Included keyboard and stylus ; Reliable software updates ; Useful Gemini features

Tiny trackpad ; Limited base RAM and storage

Honestly, I’m surprised I like Lenovo’s Chromebook Duet (Gen 9) as much as I do. When I grabbed it for travel, I figured that it would be little more than a slight upgrade over trying to research on my phone while at least saving a little space in...
