DeluoGPS 31-311-01 USB USB GPS For Laptop - Retail

This works out of the box with linux. (ubuntu gutsy). To get it to work with kismet correctly fire up gpsmap before loading up gpsd daemon.

Worked out of the box with Ubuntu and kismet. Quick acquisition. Device is smaller than I thought.

Cord could be a BIT longer.

Great Sat Access time, great tracking. Works well with Windows XP. I downloaded the Utility from the DeluoGPS website, GPS Toolkit, it's very helpful. Microsoft Streets and Trips works well, once you get used to it. By the way, I ran this in VMware...

The included CD was a little messy. Streets and Trips is a little Clunky. Once you get used to it, it's fine.

Fast lock-in, works well under bridges and multi-story buildings, water proof, magnetic receiver, and MS Streets & Trips 08 is ridiculously easy to use.

While the receiver is magnetic with ample cord length and water proofing, I do find that the magnet isn't quite strong enough for use inside my car let alone outside of it.
