Skullcandy PLYR 2 Gaming Headset

 

The Skullcandy PLYR 2 is a relatively inexpensive, lightweight gaming headset that lets you cut the cord for $130.

Inexpensive for a wireless gaming headset. Light.

Feels slightly flimsy. Mediocre bass response. Volume/balance knob is small and fiddly.

Worked well while it worked

 

Worked well, easy to connect, didn't require much charging to run for a while, good sound, easy to use mic

Started acting up a few months after I bought it, managed to get it working again only for it to refuse to charge a few months later. Tried charging through both computer and wall, and eventually it wouldn't hold a charge at all.

Will never buy anything else from this company

 

Dont buy this mine is still workingt ATM but i am already looking for a new one to replace PLEASE dont waste your money on this it is not worth it

All around great headset. Looks amazing, feels amazing and sounds Amazing.

Great Headset but..

 

I hear the PLYR 1 is going to have Bluetooth capabilities meaning it will work on the Macbook. I probably should have waited on it, but I still like this headset.

Great range on the wireless. Quality gets better if you plug it in. The sound quality lacks bass, but that isn't a problem for me.

I tried plugging the wireless usb adapter into my macbook and it didn't work at all. That was upsetting because I wanted to use my mac for skype and my pc for gaming since I only have one monitor.

Overall good headset, sounds great, looks great, feels great. Would recommend. However, waiting for the Plyr 1's may be in your best interest.
