You wouldn't think it possible, but HP has found a gap in its blanket coverage of flatbed scanners. With over twenty products in the Scanjet range you may have thought this was impossible, but HP's done ...

HP's Scanjet 3970 is an inexpensive scanner, and although not very fast it does generate good quality images, particularly when using it to scan negatives. Like most of the Scanjet range it is easy to set up and use.

Great scanner for the money. Photos and docs are really good...hard to distinguish from the originals. Easy installation. I highly recommend this scanner for those on a tight budget who are looking for excellent quality for the money.

Nice cheap scanner that works

 

Nice cheap scanner that works. Took 15 mins to get it up and working. Pictures look nice when scanned. Printed out 8X10 picture with HP Photo Printer, looks great. I did not look at any other scanner. Happy with HP products.

When I needed a copy of the birth certificate of my daughter, I was glad I had a scanner at home. I used the HP Scanjet 3970 to reproduce this document and afterwards printed it. This scanner is very simple in design and is compatible with other devices
