I'm not sure what constitutes as "Universal" but this mount does NOT work with Epson Powerlite 8350 projector. Not only that, good luck with vertical tilt adjustment as it does not have enough grip to keep it angled where you would like it to be....

Easy to add the projector to and mount onto the ceiling

The tilt bolt is not adequate, cannot get the projector to be level so there is not a horizontal tilt ; You can tighten the bolt to the max and the projector weight will tilt. Until they fix this I can't recommend this, ended up buying a different one...

Well designed, simple to fix and looks very good. As some one already pointed out the hight is around 5 inch instead of 11 inches specified

No fault on Newegg’s part but I called the manufacture and there teck department assured me that the height from celling to the projector was 11.18 inch actual height is only 5.25 inch

Did not fit my Acer projector. I had to find my own screws laying around the house and I somehow got it to fit
