The lightweight NEC LT35 offers a bright image and high contrast ratio for colors that pop off the screen.

Bright image. Excellent contrast ratio. Notably easy setup, with automatic focus, automatic keystone, and automatic image adjustment that worked flawlessly in our tests.

Rainbow effect, with parts of the image breaking up into red-green-blue rainbows, is more obvious than with many other DLP projectors. Poor sound quality.

The NEC is almost flawless as a projector. The features set is wide-ranging, the image quality sumptuous and the looks arresting. Unfortunately, we have to come back to the price; only the wealthy and hard to please will find it worth the money.
