Dryer is not effective ; Long cycle times ; Expensive

The LG F1480YD looks lovely and performs well. Although it’s expensive, it works hard and makes itself worth that price.

Don't bother buying-luckily I was in when it tripped my fuse board and set fire.

Only just got the machine but have already run a complete wash and dry cycle and can say this is fantastic. Wash cycles are average, no more or less than any other machine of this standard. Drying is brilliant for a combined washer/dryer no creasing...

The only bad point at the moment is the 'burny' smell as its a new machine but I've had that with every other new machine so can't really complain about it.

Some initial confusion with drying cycle. Very long drying cycle unless spin option is disabled. This is not clearly explained in operating instructions.

Brilliant machine, really quiet, looks good, cleans well, easy to use - I just hope it lasts!
