The two upper trays, being solid, collect hot water and are a bit difficult to get out. I have swapped these with the two perforated trays from my old steamer.

Being progammable is really useful. I like the way the whole unit stacks so campactly for storage.

The water collects in the trays for baskets 2 and 3 because there are no vent holes.

First one we bought eventually the plastic covers cracked , so may not be dishwasher friendly

Cook very quickly, almost half the time of my last steamer which was a cheap one. Compact for storage.

No external place to add water during cooking. Seems flimsy in some areas so worry about breakage.

None really. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for compared with cheap steamers, that simply do not work.

The tefal vitacuisine is an excellent product and was good value for money ,it performs very well and would thoroughly recommend this product

to date we have found no points that would have changed our minds about the purchase of this product

The only fault I have are 2 of the tiers have baskets that are inserted in. Whilst this stops the juices/flavours from draining into the product below it reduces the amount of product you can cook. Also when removing baskets there is a risk of...
