Hotpoint HL500E

Cooks well, had no problems doing simple things like pizza right up to a good roast dinner. Looks good in my kitchen as well. Easy to clean and to keep clean, even after those little spills that always seem to happen..... Stright forward, no problem...

My only bad point is that the control knobs for the hotplates have been labeled wrongly or have been connected to the wrong plate. Quality control issue???? Not the sort of thing I would expect from such a company. The one marked, "Rear left" instead...

Very small fridge - only suitable for a single person really

This was purchased for my mother as she is elderly and had started leaving the gas on. She finds it very easy to use and is pleased with it.

The black comes off of the hobs and ruins the dish cloth. Maybe the diagrams for the operating knobs could be a little bolder.

Eye level grill

Can't see at a glance which ring is on as the red dot that gets darker is under the pan. You only know rings are on because of light above knobs.

Nice and compact and not bad looking. Should hopefully be economical to run.

You have to part-assemble it (i.e. attach the top part with the grill) yourself which is a two person job.The cooker does not come with a power lead but they don't tell you that and it took two days to source a suitable one locally.
