Always look for modified firmware and look at other players in this price range to see how much your really getting!

This product was bought to copy home footage from video tape to DVD/HDD. This works very well with the use of the DV input.

Copying from tape to DVD/HDD can be time consuming as there is no alternate way to copy other than to watch all the footage in real time...no fast copy facility!
