Awsome!!!

 

Perfect for use with a 1080p HDCP monitor. If you want to use the hidden features then you might want to wait until more people have these, there is little online about them.

This item is great, HDMI output, DVD upconversion, excelent quality for the price. This can be set to region free using some codes found online to show some hidden menus

Programs my directv box and the recorder to record the show when I'm not home. The DVD player has to be off to record timed shows, if you have the unit on it will not record your show. I connected this to my dell monitor through a DVI to HDMI cable and...

I'm about to order another one to upgrade my picture in my studio,

I don't need to upgrade my satellite to HD if I use this as a tuner and route my signal through it. The picture quality is better than my vision can see

Wish it had an optical audio output but the digital is excellent

Plays Everything

 

Can be flashed and has hidden menus to enable other features.

Fantastic Picture ; 1080i upconversion works wonders on VCD and DVD ; Fast load times - not as fast as old regular DVD players ; Comes with HDMI cable ; Plays scrathed DVDs better than my other players ; Plays most imported DVD without any problems

Need to upgrade firmware on the one I received to get HDMI to work ; No optical digital out. Only Coaxial Digital ; Can not change default screen color (black by default)

Very easy to use set up and system. Very easy to use to record and play DVDs Excellent picture quality. Good sound quality via a home cinema system.

Sometimes it will not load a DVD first time and the unit has to be switched on and off a few times, which can be annoying. However, good points make up for this problem, for me at least.

HDMI playback of Pre-recorded DVDs

MP4 performance diabolical (sound completely out of sync with picture). HDMI playback of own recordings not as clear as RGB. Takes ages to switch on.
