I bought this unit a year ago. The picture quality and features were excellent for the price, so for the most part I thought I made a good purchase.

Progressive scan at great price

 

I replaced a $1000 Sony DVD player with this $139 player just to get progressive scan. (I know, but the $1000 model was several years old.) The picture on my HDTV was glorious, of course, and made the investment that much better.
