Sharp images. Good range of focal lengths. Fairly compact. Decent price.

Focus motor squeaks if you touch it while in auto. OS stays on quite a while after it's needed. Rattles.

(Review page shows the lens I bought, but these remarks apply to the polarising filter I bought with it.) Excellent. Requires one stop more.

As with many screw on filters, one needs to be careful about tightening. Best to rub a pencil lead (graphite) around the thread before screwing on, and screw it back and forward a few times before tightening. Then it comes off easily.

Good in low light situations .

Smaller then equivalent of Nikon or Canon lens. Lighter. Good quality glass in lens. Image stabilization is advantage. Excellent picture quality. Good value for money.

Lens distortion in wide angle bigger then in pro lens, (easy to fix by software), moving elements outside main body (front of the lens) - it comes as compromise to having cheaper lens then pro fully sealed with mechanical parts inside - better...

Good sharp lens with effective anti-shake at value price.
