Mycket kompakt och lätt. Väldigt bra VR. Bra skärpa, men skiljer sig från 300/2.8 AF-S VR genom att skärpan är markant sämre med converter TC17E II och TC20E III. Fokuseringen också långsammare än med det ljusstarkare objektivet.

Ett fantastiskt litet och lätt 300:4.0. Vikten är så låg att jag inte ser något behov av ett stativfäste på objektivet.

Lätt, skarp, bra VR. 77mm filter, precis som de flesta av nikons litet dyrare objektiv

Dyrt, men ändå prisvärt. Det förekommer rapporter om att några av de första objektiven som levererats har problem med VR på slutartider mellan 1/60 och 1/180. Nikon åtgärdar förstås utan kostnad
