The Toshiba Tecra A2-119's thin lines, light weight, and good battery life make it easy to travel with, but it's missing a few features and lags behind other value notebooks in terms of performance.

Nice display. Conveniently located ports. Good battery life.

Poor performance. Skimpy features. Only 256MB of RAM.

The Toshiba Tecra A2 didn't really impress us, and it likely won't impress you either: It falls short on performance and features. Other value notebooks—even lighter-weight ones—provide more.
