My son's (the first of 2 bought.) died just over 3 years of almost continuous use (probably the GPU.). Just after the warranty ended. It seems a shame we cannot recycle the components of laptops as well as desktops.

Battery life isn't great, but it is a monstrously powerful gaming laptop so why you would game on the battery I don't know! The only other bad point I can think of is windows 8, I really am not a fan of it.

Very quick boot up time due to the SSD, very good GPU Performance.

Battery is only 2hrs, but thats running at full pelt.
