Inexpensive 17-inch laptop; HDMI output; decent touch pad.

Low-end processor; plastic construction; flexy keyboard; limited connectivity.

I bought a toshiba instead same company but better quality.

defective unit ; New egg refunded me the price of the unit and the extended warranty. I have a feeling acer gave them a hard time though ; I will continue to shop at newegg as they provide a great service. Acer is still in question

Fail new egg or fail acer? who is lying...

 

By the looks of it one or both of these parties are involved in a scam or are completely incompetent. Either way I've lost total faith in Acer and will stop giving them rave reviews to my customers immediately.

17" display very hard to find lately ; I bought this for my disabled family member so they could see the screen better

Everything fell apart a little over a month after purchase. Keys falling off, keys not working or typing inaccurate characters ; Called new egg: It's out of the 30 return/exchange on product details it SAYS it has a 90 day manufacturer warranty ;...

Good size screen and ability to use keys etc

A little on the large size for toting about. Would have been nice to have had a fully usable office program on so that it is availble for use immediately on arrival for office work.

It's a very light laptop for a 17" screen. Screen is amazingly clear. Apart from the issue I have with the speakers it is the best laptop I have purchased (and I have 5 laptops on the go!)

My previous Acer had really poor speakers so I was hoping for better speakers in this model - alas, they are just as poor. I have to use headphones to listen to music and watch movies as you cannot hear them otherwise. Acer nead to work on this imo.
