Good work laptop for the price.

 

Works very well and stays very cool, but comes with more junkware than I'd like. Works very well and boots quite fast, idle cpu and gpu temps are in the mid 30s to low 40s. Somewhat weak at gaming, but can play L4D decently. Quite sturdy nice screen

Like a previous reviewer said, I also got the blue screen of death while trying to install the new video driver. The computer was untouched by other install/uninstall so this means it's not me, I didn't have the "chance" to mess it up. I don't know why...

This is big screen and has a new generation processor, which is why I got it ; Overall is a good buy for $500 and I like the peace of mind provided by the Newegg policy, if that works, for getting money back if you find it somewhere else cheaper

Could have used more hard drive space, 650GB at least ; I owned another Acer at some point and it had a nice design with a metallic finish, this one has a cheap looking blue plastic lid ; I got the blue screen of death ; I still don't like that I don't...

For the price you can't beat this notebook. an i5 and a graphics card for 500$ on black friday. works great, super fast.

My first Intel pc/laptop. Very happy with it. As also mentioned, downloaded drivers and bsod. I deleted video drivers and re installed. Works fine

Boots up fast ; Loads programs very quickly ; Everything has been easy and smooth ; Plays games and movies wonderful

As mentioned, the bloatware. Unreal. Took a good 15 mins just to get rid of most of it
