Acer's Aspire 7735Z is a reasonably attractive, well-built and (aside from the horrible touchpad buttons) well-designed machine. If you want a large-screen desktop replacement for films and productivity it's a bit of a bargain.

Screen and keyboard is great, and fair design. Fairly robust, but still has elegance (!)

The battery is terrible regardless of energy settings, however I am understandant that this may be a batch issue, unfortunately I will never know because and Acer Warranty support is Diabolically Poor - It is as if they do not want to know you, or any...

We are very happy with our Acer lap top and could recommend it.

Battery life not long enough even when fully charged it lasts only about one and half hours and then shuts down without any warning.

Good overall Laptop, my only gripe being the battery life but that can be expected with a Laptop. Is very quick (I have put Windows 7, replacing Vista) and handles multiple programs (including very taxing editing software) very well.

Just the battery life, really. But as I said above, it can't really be helped with a Laptop. For a Laptop the battery is at least average.

It's a great spec for the price. The screen resolution is excellent, the 4GB memory makes the system fly & the sound quality us superb.

No operating system CD's/DVD's were included, the keyboard could be better & the overall feel is a bit flimsy. However, it's a superb laptop for the price.
