Great! but.....

 

This is a great unit for the price and was perfect for what I needed it for. I haven't had any trouble with the AFCI tripping but it did trip a breaker (I had too many things running off the same outlet) nothing wrong with the unit, just my stupidity :P

Avoid this at all costs

 

Do yourself a favor and look at other air conditioners. This is just not worth the frustration.

Has heating built in. Timer function and remote control

AFCI will trip way too often. Sometimes the unit will run for hours but usually will either shut off every few minutes or every 30 minutes or so making it worthless. If you use the timer you can rest assured that the unit will shut itself down because...

AFCI Too Sensative

 

The unit does a fine job of cooling the room while it is running

Can't keep it running. I have researched this problem and called the manufacturer only to find out that the AFCI plug built onto the unit is too sensative. This is a known problem according to the Amcor support rep. and the options are not...

Fills with water too fast

 

This room a/c unit works great, BUT... it fills with condensation water in about 5 hours of continuous use. Less if it's humid! And draining it is a pain in the butt.
