You do need to have an unobstructed line of site between the keyboard and the ir emitter.

Where is the IR RECIEVER ???? I didn't do my homework i guess : when opening the box i was looking for the IR reciever but their is NONE ! You CAN NOT BUY TH EIR RECIEVER SEPERATE ! haha that's like buying a pair of shoes and you only get 1.

i love the macro buttons i can go where ever i want in media center with usually one keystroke.

oh my where should i start first of all the pointer as others said is the worst thing ever it requires almost a line of sight to work .

The keyboard is great for Windows MCE setups, with all of the keys available to quickly get to any function.

The Trackpoint broke after 3 days of moderate use - what an incredibly poor idea and design.
