The Hercules Deluxe Optical Glass is a decent webcam, and at a mere 25 bucks, it's a ridiculously good buy.

Low price. Snazzy design. Built-in LEDs help with low-light video. Versatile lens mount. Easy-to-use capture software.

Video resolution tops out at 640 by 480. Poor image quality. Problems with audio-video sync. Awkward manual focus ring.

The lens can spin 360 degrees, tilt about 90 degrees forward and back, and even pivot slightly from side to side so that you can make your subject appear perfectly level (in case the mount isn't). It's flanked by four surprisingly bright LEDs, which...

Missing Piece.

 

The webcam works great, has nice LED's for lighting. Simple usb hookup. The clip is useful for hooking it onto the monitor

Didn't include the "included" headset. Not that I was going to be using it, but still. I got ripped off. Very disappointed that they didn't include a part they said they would include

Works as advertised. Image quality is clear for the relatively low number of megapixels. The glass really helps. The LED lights give off the proper amount of brightness, not too much and not too little. The microphone is actually pretty good. I use it...

I bought two and one of the ones I got stopped working. It seemed to be a physical or hardware problem because when I tapped the back of the case it would work occasionally for an hour or two... This is probably where they sacrificed along the line-...
