Very wide field of view. I use in a small office and can see people on both sides of the desk from about 5 feet away.

The camera is manual focus. Once you get it adjusted it is very clear, just takes some setup.

bought the camera for 40 wasted dollars that i have to now spend again on another camera as this one came with companion software that required license keys which unless i pirate or ask my friend up in brewer for, this camera serves as just a skype...

Fundamentally A Useless Piece Of Equipment i preffer to steal movies, not my own software

I bought this to use for video conferencing via Google Hangouts on a linux (Fedora 19) workstation. The camera works perfectly, has good focus and the wide-angle works great for picking up a FAR wider view, both horizontally and vertically.

It's a wide angle lens, so you really can't get your face/head to fill the shot unless you lean in REALLY close (like 6-8 inches). When I sit about 12-16 inches away, it gets my whole torso and is still able to show my outstretched arms to either side....
