If you can get it to work the metal grill over the speaker creates a weird interference depending on the angle you hold it.

if you can get it to dock with the iPod it will play music.

Sloppy build quality. The 3.5mm docking connector was not straight on mine. It scratched up my iPod Nano, bits of plastic fell out. Lucky for me the iPod still works!
