good sound quality for this price

one speaker stopped making sound after about 3 months. It turned out to be the similar problem met by other reviewers before: one of the amplifier output port died. I've requested for replacement, but I guess the new one will not last long, either

I bought these for my, tween aged girls system. They were and still are very nice sounding speakers for the money. I mainly bought them because of the cool factor of lighting up. The girls were not so impressed but I still think it's pretty cool

I personally don't have a problem with the fact that you have to crank them up to get the light effects to work, but my daughters who are not as hearing impaired as I, object to the volume level

None, however these speakers aren't for someone who wants "shake the house to pieces" loud. They are for someone who is looking for sound quality that leaves others speakers in the dust
