After only six months of use, I've now replaced this printer with a Brother HL-4040CN color laser. The Brother is easily 5 to 10 times faster than this HP. The same set of newsletters takes less than 30 minutes on the Brother. I'm not kidding. The...

It was the same price to buy this printer (open box special) as it was to buy all new toner cartridges for my 2600n. I was concerned about the future toner costs, but these cartridges last a loooong time, and Rosewill has started making compatible...

Useless printer/fax/scan

 

I've updated the firmware to the latest 20070524, and still have the problems.

Are there any? Printing works, that's about it. I'm afraid to even try any large complex printouts as nothing else works properly (fax, scan, copy)

Faxing only works once after power-up. After that, faxing will either cause the printer to reboot, or it will hang in an endless "Storing Fax" stage ; NO Mac OSX Leopard support for fax/scan!!! Only printing works
