A budget multi-function with some flaws
Poor build quality, unimpressive printing quality
Cost efficient, decent scan quality
Epson’s Stylus CX5500 carries a number of flaws which will deter some buyers. However, given its low price point and cost efficiency, this multi-function will suit those in need of a budget unit with cheap running costs.
Opinie eksperta : Gagan Gupta (tech.firstpost.com)
Shiny surfaces on computer peripherals are usually synonymous with an incredible amount of fingerprint smudges just waiting to happen. But surprisingly, the piano finish on the Epson Stylus CX5500 all-in-one printer was a lot more-smudge resistant than...
However, if you're looking for a fast workhorse with high print outputs, look elsewhere!
Opinie eksperta : Leonard Goh (cnet.com.au)
This affordable multifunction printer is suitable for light users and students, offering print, scan and copy capabilities for under $100.
Outlook If you're on a tight budget, the CX5500 would be an almost perfect choice--that is, if you are not a fussy user. We think the biggest advantage the Epson has over other similar machines would be its choice of cartridges and the ability to use...

Opinie użytkowników (cnet.com.au)
I just replaced the black ink cartridge and only realised that I need to replace the other 2 colour cartridge before I can print my stuff in black ink!
cheap and durable
slow printing
Opinie użytkowników (cnet.com.au)
looks culz and sturdy, simple to use, i agree with the other fellow that if your needs are for occasional use and don't mind the slowness then fine, however don't expect it to be a workhorse. Yes thirsty, yes it has a mind of it's own and asks for full...

claimed to be cost-effective, but it fooled many people. it is not economical too.. if you ran out an ink, even if you dont need it, you have to buy it for the desired ink (esp. black) to function.
3-in-one... that's all!
you cant print if one ink is empty.
Opinie użytkowników (cnet.com.au)
This is a very cheap printer that prints at quite a good quality for everyday use. But it is slow, noisy and thirsty - that is why it is cheap. If you accept that trade-off you will be happy. If not, then look elsewhere.
Cheap ; Has multifunction capability
Drinks like a fish ; Seems to occasionally get upset about non-genuine ink cartridges ; Noisy ; S-L-O-W
Opinie użytkowników (cnet.com.au)
This printer goes through ink like it's going out of fashion.
The scanner is ok
Ink usage has to be seen to be believed ; The print speed is slow and the printer prints colour with visable black bands on photo quality paper
