There are LINUX drivers for this model. Touch screen makes config easy. Double sided printing. Canon makes the parts for HP's printers. Lots of experience and knowledge.

Top cover only opens to 60 degrees. Crazy noisy unless you select the "Quiet" settings. Noise is not much of a "Con" however. Envelopes must go ONLY in Tray #1.

Great Product

 

I would recommend it to others at the price I bought it. Would have bought different model in line maybe 2 steps up but being close to Christmas had gifts to buy so settled for this one. Had to have the scanner.

Quality output. Tried printing photo and surprising it did quality product. Read reviews and it was said that photo quality was not very good.

BIG learning curve on learning to use it. Gets easier more that you use it. Can't say what ink usage and cost will be yet.

I got this printer on a quick buy as it was on sale and my old printer died. I occasionally scan and when I do print, I print a lot. this met my network needs. I live in an apartment and already have way too much wifi noise around me... I'm very happy...

Large capacity ink tanks so you don't replace the ink and often and large capacity paper bins for business use. Also has an Ethernet connection for network printing, this was exactly what I was looking for. Does not have WiFI... this is a pro! USB and...
