Canon Pixma iP5000

 

The Canon Pixma iP5000 photo printer does photos well enough, but does text and graphics even better.

Fast performance for business applications. Output quality rates as very good. Direct printing from cameras. Duplex printing. Two input paper trays.

No memory card slots. Slower photo speed and slightly lower photo quality than the less-expensive Canon Pixma iP4000.

I got my printer with my first tax return, coz I print my own photos, I still have it to this day, nearly 10yrs ago and I will not say a bad word about it, coz it has done everything right, just wish I can find a another one like it that can also scan...

Cd/DVD label printing, beautiful photo printing, can use it with vista, 5 ink tanks,

Can't use with windows 7

I purchased this printer after reading many reviews and have been very impressed. I would recommend this to anyone. Carl's vote is 5 thumbs up !!!!!

Quality is fantastic!!! Photos print as if they were printed professionally! As others have commented the separate ink tanks is great and saves money. Having the option to print on CD's is awesome and really easy to use. Looks great on your desk.

You need to configure how the printer uses the tanks as the default will use all colours for to create black. Paper feeder lid is a bit clunky. Doesn't hold much paper in the feeder tray.

Been using this printer since December 2004 and have had no issues at all. Printing a number of photos and have only changed all the ink tanks once in 12-months. Recommended.

Separate ink tanks, 2 x paper input (cassette & sheet feeder), duplex printing, CD/DVD printing option and quality of photo printing.

Nothing really other than the size of the unit.

Great printer for digital photos - just make sure you use good quality ultra glossy photo paper. Highly recommended.

Excellent quality for digital photo printing. Individual ink tanks. Duplex printing.
