Aurora Light-Duty AS662C Confetti-Cut Paper Shredder (AS662C)

This shredder worked for our simple needs. We only used it about once a month with bills, one at a time. Then one day it just died! Now we have to waste our money to buy another shredder. Just go with a higher quality brand.

I've had this for three weeks and I've only used it twice. Never went over 4 sheets of paper (even though it said max. 6), never folded the papers, only shred 2 credit cards ever! I find that I spend alot of time trying to get paper out of the jammed...

When I received it as a gift I tried it out while my Mom was still there.I got it out of the box, plugged it in and used it....I loved it. I unplugged it and took it to the the home office and 2 weeks later when I tried to use it, it would not come on....

We bought it mainly b/c there are a lot of dumpster divers in our area and we were afraid of info getting out! This was perfect for shredding bills and it even shreds credit cards! Perfect for little jobs!

This machine is awful. I bought it and it overheated after only a couple minutes of shredding and never worked again. Waste of my money!!!

Shuts down from overheating before much use, and you have to wait for it to cool down before it starts up again. Certainly frustrating if you have a lot to shred. Does NOT take 8.5x11 pages well - I had to tear them in half first. I wouldn't *dream* of...
