This is a camera for your mum. It's a point-and-shoot job so don't go looking for any manual modes or any clever stuff

Beautiful 3-inch touch screen LCD. Wonderful design. Very good performance. Large text and on-screen buttons make it easy to navigate through menus.

A bit pricey. Some images too noisy. Lousy burst mode. No glass viewfinder.

The Sony Cyber-shot T50 is a fantastic compact camera with a generous 56MB internal memory and impressive STAMINA battery technology that allows you to shoot continuously for over 3 hours. A fantastic all-rounder.

The touch screen is a new innovation for Sony and the quality of images just about justifies the higher than average price. its a shame about the lack of manual features.
