Two out of three ain't bad - I say this because the mc3 takes atrocious digital stills - the colour is off, its full of artifacts and distortion - which all magically disappears (except for the colour being off) in video mode, provided you have it on...

battery life ; mp3 playing capabilities ; video recording and playback with sound ; lcd screen

can't handle indoor lighting and slow to adjust to changing light conditions (stills and video) ; no backlight on lcd screen ; shot to shot speed for stills is very slow ; requires an odd number of batteries (3AAA - try finding that in a pack!)

I really like how the MC3 looks. Slightly bigger than a deck of cards, and it can play MP3s, take digital pictures, and record video clips. The MP3s are in realjukebox format. The videos are in quicktime format. You can sync it with your computer...

Neat compact design. A good price for digital camera/camcorder/mp3 player

Great mp3 player, shame about the camera.

 

I bought this cheaply second hand to use on a trip as a "happy snappy" camera to take on the more adventurous parts of a recent overseas trip and to be able to listen to my favourite musi on the go.
