Kodak DC-25

Great little camera. I do a lot of mascot work and I need my helper to take a LOT of pictures, (http://www.marcwolf.org) and I use this little camera all of the time to take shot of me on site with children and adults. I was initially sceptical as I...

Small, Compact, and its pictures can be jpeg to appox 26k for web work. Resolution not that great - but see point above. Tools for the job - if your not doing a magazine with enlargements then this unit is good. SDK available for interesting...

Batteries - make uyp a pack with 6AA NiMh batteries from a electronics store and you'll never be caught short Flash is rather week - but use a photoeditor to lighten/brighten you finished work.

I bought the DC25 about 2 years ago when they were ending their run in the shops. I paid A$325, which in hindsight was a little steep. Initially we loved the ability to snap shots, view them on the LCD screen and delete them if they were rubbish. But...

Robust Simple Cheap

poor resolution uses batteries quickly slow to refresh

This camera owes me nothing! Well, maybe a nickel. I bought this camera thinking I would use it just for business. Was I surprised at the many uses I would find for this DC25 by Kodak. I HAVE used it for business and found it impressive not only to me,...

Good camera at a great price. It doesn't take the best quality pictures, but I've seen a lot worse.

It has all the extras that are usually left off of cameras this cheap. The LCD screen, flash, memory expansion. It's great for web photos.

The batteries are very expensive. It doesn't come with a power cable. The serial download is very time consuming.

It is a great starter camera. I got mine when I was 17 and now I am getting ready to purchase a more professional model. It gives users a good understanding of how to use a camera, and how digital photography/artwork is created.

This camera is very easy to use. And durable (it has been drapped quite a few times). It is small (pocket-sized) and light. It comes with software that is great for a kid or someone else using it for the first time.

The picture quality is low, it uses expensive batteries, and it has an innacurate view finder for pictures at a closer range. Download time (to my pc) is long.

I'm not sure if you can buy this model anymore--but I would say a used dc25 in good condition for under $75 would be a good buy (I'm just pulling that figure off the top of my head--I have no idea what the used market is like for these things). It has...

This is my first and only digital camera, so I don't have a lot of other personal experiences to compare it to. Nevertheless, there are several things I really like about this particular unit. The first is the optional CompactFlash memory card. The...

I wish there was a door that closed over the lens for protection (most cheap point-and-shoot cameras have this). The serial cable that comes with it is really slow--buy a USB SansDisk card reader if you have the means. The recovery time between shots...

While most of the photos were in bright afternoon sunlight, the flash filled the shadows terrifically and made it easy to just 'point-and-shoot'. West coast relatives were able to browse the pics the next day and download and print their own photos, or...

I purchased the camera at auction on the internet. I did not expect it's lower resolution to produce pictures as good as the higher priced cameras. It does all I expected with 4x5 inch prints and sending photos over the net. The thing I like most is...

Bought a closeout at Staples for $99. Only rap on camera is 472x373 resolution. Ok for closeups and good light. Not great if blowing up past 6 inches. 3 mode flash is pretty good. I wanted to get some experience with a digital camera. Downloading is...

Hi everybody! The DC-25 is a great camera. I use it mostly for posting pictures on the internet, and for sending e-mail pictures. The low quality setting is awful, and I never use it. The memory is OK, but it would help to get an (expensive!)...
