power cord too short, and not removable

I had this set installed by a local retailer on 7th February. The picture is great but while watching football, there is a 'fuzz', and lack of colour, around the players during long shots of the pitch. I have only ever known this on the first LCD TVs....

I bought this because of the great looks, slim profile and good reviews. Less than 2 months in the screen has totally failed, which happens. The really poor bit is the after sales service by Samsung. It will take 17 days minimum to get a replacement...
