JVC DLA-X500R har en overlegen kontrast, bra med lys og gnistrende skarp optikk. Smart nesten-4K oppløsning gir meget finkornede bilder, og fullt motorisert optikk gir glimrende innstillingsmuligheter. En ny referanse

Rett ut av esken er projektoren undersaturert i blått, som gir et lite snev av gulstikk. Å få fargetemperaturen helt riktig er vanskelig, og man må akseptere ulinearitet i grønt og rødt ved 100 prosent fargeintensitet
