Never tried it with a windows PC but not for the mac user. Video quality is still better with DV

Perhaps works well with windows

No mac support software. Does not work with iMovie. I was able to transfer the compressed vid to my mac, but then had to change format. Then it would woth with imovie, but video was choppy for some reason. No Firewire

i love this addition for my Handycam HDR-CX150. Since the camera is so small, this helps with overall camera control. great slow and rapid zoom function. easy access to record video and snap photos at the same time. I wish it had 3" - 6" leg extensions...
