Trine 2 may retread a lot of old ground, but it's beautiful. It's like Frozenbyte are saying "Oh, did we make Trine? We meant this." The same moderate puzzling challenge, the same characters, the same charm and some problems fixed.

Once beaten, there is little cause for repeat playthroughs, but the initial experience is so captivating that this hardly matters. Too many people missed out on the first game, and I hope that they don't make the same mistake twice. Trine 2 is easily...

With a lower price, must-see visuals, and unique platforming that works well by yourself and better with friends, Trine 2 makes for a nice little bite-size piece of entertainment during this otherwise slow holiday period.
