A handy lapdesk with in-built speakers and a cooling fan.

A clever and potentially useful peripheral, the Logitech Speaker Lapdesk N700 does a great job of combining improved audio, ergonomic comfort and cooling into one. Some may find it hard to justify the cost, but if you can then it won't disappoint.

Logitech Speaker Lapdesk N700

 

It looks like a Stable Table, but it's actually quite a lot more. The N700 is great for watching movies, but its speaker placement makes the sound a little dull for music.

Almost silent cooling fan. USB powered. Great for watching movies.

Heavier than you'd imagine. Speaker position is not great for music. No room for a wireless mouse.

If you're a laptop multitasker who browses the web while watching TV, then the N700 is great for you, and its internal speakers may just have you flicking off the tube and watching videos on your laptop instead.

Logitech Lapdesk N700 provides a good upgrade over the stock laptop speakers by offering great fidelity and quality. Although the cooling performance leaves a lot to be desired, the N700 still stands out in a league of its own with its intended purpose.
