Clients include eBay, Philips, Microsoft, Sony Ericsson and RedCoon. alaTest’s award winning review analysis technology aggregates, structures and summarizes millions of expert and consumer product reviews each day from more than 1,800 international review sources, matched to clients’ product catalogs. alaTest enables clients to offer their customers a comprehensive review experience that includes tools to visualize in real time what the world says about a product’s strengths and weaknesses and how it compares to similar products.

alaTest has offices in Stockholm, New York, Berlin, London and Wuhan and operates product reviews sites for consumers in 20 markets across the world.

The alaTest network closes the gap between brands, retailers, review publishers and consumers providing multiple benefits to all network members. At the center is alaTest’s mission to provide consumers with the information that they need to make good buying decisions. Providing them with this information at the point of purchase increases sales conversation and customer satisfaction.

Reviews collected via the alaTest network can also be distributed throughout the network as well as on alaTest’s own consumer sites in 20 markets, increasing brand visibility and making a positive direct impact on sales overall.

The alaTest review database is continually updated and has, over time, built up to contain over 12.8million reviews. This vast amount of data can be mined to provide rich business insights to our clients and partners.

Vision

The story of alaTest starts in 2001 with our founder’s quest to find the best possible video camera to record the precious moments of his baby son’s first few years. Today alaTest has grown into a global business but the vision has remained the same: to provide consumers everywhere with independent, reliable information on product quality so that they can make the right purchase decisions.
